Restorative Yoga with Milo Minnis
Restorative Yoga focuses on poses that encourage your body to relax. This deep relaxation supports healing by stimulating your body - producing natural chemicals that can help lessen the negative effects of stress, support your immune system, and sharpen your mind. The word yoga means ”unite” and Restorative Yoga asanas (poses) unite your physical, mental and spiritual elements. Your body will relax completely, and you will feel restored, renewed and energized. No experience needed. If you like savasana you will love Restorative Yoga.

Milo Minnis is an Advanced Certified Restorative Instructor and a Certified Yoga Alliance 200 hours Registered Teacher. She has been an educator for over 30 years and brings that expertise to her teaching. Her training is varied as she believes that no “body” is the same and we each need to explore yoga in our own way. We need stillness in our lives to nurture the body and the soul is her philosophy. sign up

Vedic Chanting with Virginia Wise
Explore simple mantras and longer chants from the Vedas of ancient India.  Students will be encouraged and supported to develop Vedic chant as part of their personal practice.  The classes will be personalized to meet the specific needs and desires of those attending (input will be requested from those who register).  New and experienced chanters are welcome!

Virginia Wise has studied Vedic chant with Sonia Nelson, longtime student of TKV Desikachar, for more than 10 years and yoga with her and other teachers for more than 30 years.  Vedic chant has been an important addition to her personal practice, a source of strength and stability through challenging times. She wants to offer others the opportunity to discover its gifts for themselves.

"To share Vedic chant is to share the experience of silence through listening, a process of healing and a link with nature, the deeper self and the divine." -TKV Desikachar  sign up
